FLEET MANAGEMENT · FOR BUSINESSES
Your fleet.
Considered as a whole.
One company car or a mixed fleet: fleet management connects vehicle needs, finance and daily operations. With Leasify, structure your requirements and record them in one enquiry.
Describe your fleet needsFIRST THE TASK. THEN THE VEHICLE.
A fleet does not need
identical cars.
Sales teams and tradespeople have different needs. Group vehicles by task to compare equipment, mileage and costs without giving every driver the same model.
| Usage profile | Typical vehicle needs | Key planning considerations |
|---|---|---|
| Field sales & sales teams | Saloons, estates or compact company cars | Annual mileage, long-distance comfort, luggage and reliable availability |
| Trades & service teams | Vans, panel vans or specially fitted vehicles | Cargo space, payload, tools, materials and required bodywork |
| Management & executive travel | Business and luxury vehicles with individually defined equipment | Use, comfort, budget and company vehicle policy |
| Shared vehicles & team travel | Compact cars, electric vehicles or vans | Changing drivers, booking, locations, charging needs and utilisation |
COSTS IN CONTEXT
The payment is one part.
Operations are the whole.
Fleet planning becomes more reliable when you separate recurring and one-off costs. Compare offers with the same term, mileage and service scope.
- Vehicle & contract
- Lease or finance payments, initial payment, delivery and agreed end-of-term payments.
- Day-to-day running
- Fuel or electricity, insurance, tax, maintenance, wear and tyres, unless already included.
- Administration & transitions
- Internal administration, possible replacement transport, return and preparation for the next vehicle.
Count each cost only once. When buying, consider depreciation and future disposal separately. Do not mix net and gross prices.
Assess a lease offer with the cost checkSERVICE NEEDS CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES
Define what should be included.
And who will provide it.
Fleet management can cover very different services. These areas help define the support you need. Assess a service package only when its scope, price and responsible provider are clear.
Maintenance & tyres
Describe servicing, workshop access and seasonal tyre requirements.
What is already included in the payment? Who arranges appointments?
Insurance & claims
Agree insurance needs, claims reporting and internal approvals.
Who is responsible, what excess applies and how are records kept?
Fuel & charging
Consider energy supply on site and on the road.
How are costs recorded, allocated and billed?
Vehicle & driver data
Define responsibilities, access and the documents needed.
Which data is actually needed and who can see it?
Contract end & replacement
Plan terms, returns and replacement vehicles together early.
When do contracts end, and what transition periods are needed?
These areas describe needs to be agreed. Ongoing fleet operations, workshop coordination and claims handling cannot currently be booked through Leasify.
ELECTRIC MOBILITY AT WORK
Start with the usage profile.
Plan step by step.
Look at individual vehicle groups as well as the whole fleet. Which regularly return to base? Where is downtime predictable? Which journeys are especially long or unpredictable?
- Record routes and downtime for each vehicle group.
- Check charging options at work and on the road.
- Include charging organisation and cost allocation.
- Use contract end dates for phased replacement.
ONE ENQUIRY FOR YOUR FLEET
Bring your needs together.
Make the first step simpler.
Describe how many vehicles you need, their use and whether you are replacing, expanding or starting a fleet. You do not need to choose a specific model yet.
- Review current stock and goalsExisting vehicles, expiring contracts and desired start date.
- Set out the frameworkVehicle mix, mileage, budget and desired support services.
- Record your requirementsYour fleet summary and contact person are saved together.
Your enquiry goes to Leasify for discussion. It does not create a contract or vehicle order. It is not automatically forwarded to service providers or finance companies.
FLEET PLANNING QUESTIONS
Before your first
conversation.
Can I enquire about just one or two company cars?
Yes. Use the enquiry for one company car or several vehicles. Any minimum quantities for a future product depend on the provider.
Can I describe cars and commercial vehicles together?
Yes. Specify the vehicle mix and needs for each group. Vans may need cargo space and bodywork details; sales teams focus more on mileage and travel comfort.
Does fleet management automatically mean full-service leasing?
No. Organising a fleet and financing its vehicles are different tasks. Check separately which services a lease includes. Ongoing management is not currently bookable here.
Can an existing fleet be taken over?
Describe your existing fleet and goals in the enquiry. Taking over contracts or ongoing services requires separate assessment and agreement from the parties involved; it is not promised here.
